The BS degree offered by IIT Madras, is an official degree approved by the Senate of IIT Madras, which has the power to award degrees as per 'The Institutes of Technology Act, 1961'. The syllabus and learning is just as rigorous and comparable to a campus program. And the IITM BS degree is valid as any other degree awarded by the institute.
